IDA Rwanda launched the second cohort of its project titled: ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN WITH DISABILITIES. This has been done in partnership with ROTARCT ALU (African Leadership University Rwanda). 30 women with disabilities from Rutunga Sector in Gasabo District, city of Kigali have been trained on” Initiation on financial literacy and management of the small project with income generation and so far, they will get a seeding capital to boost their small business.

15 teen mothers and women survivors of domestic violence, started vocational training (Sewing machines); we want to empower them economically, enhancing their financial independence so that they can feel comfortable and get out of the miserable life that they have been carrying out for a long time because of financial dependency.
